Jewelry repair shop in Tokyo

I have a K18 necklace that I basically split into 3 segments and may require soldering to repair.

If anyone could point me out to reasonably priced repair shops, that would be really helpful.

  1. There are some small jewelry shops along Ameyoko Street near the Okachimachi end where I have had work done. If you search this sub you will see others over the years recommending these stalls too. I say “stalls” because they are not individual shops with doors etc. As you walk up Ameyoko from Okachimachi Station there will be an entrance to a market-like area on the right side. Inside there are permanent stalls – most of which are selling jewelry and offering repairs. You may need to leave the piece there and come back some days later. Keep in mind these places have been there for decades and are trusted businesses even if they may appear to be fly by nights.

  2. I had a ring resized at Takeya, the big purple shop in Okachimachi. I can’t remember how much it cost, but I remember that it was reasonable (although the ring had sentimental value so I was more concerned with going somewhere trustworthy).

The area is pretty famous for jewelry shops, so taking a wander around and visiting shops there might help you find a good place.
