Firstly, I promise I have extensively googled this in English and Japanese (to the best of my ability) but can’t find a definitive answer. I’m going to contact my local immigration service to chat to someone too.
I’m applying for 専門学校 for next year, but the school I’m most interested in is only 1 year so doesn’t provide you with a 専門士 at the end. You do however receive a national licencing qualification (2nd class).
After studying, I intend on working in the same field as the study. I have a Bachelors degree from overseas, but it’s completely unrelated.
If anyone has been through this and can enlighten me, it would be greatly appreciated!

It is possible to give more information on the course and also years of experience in the field you wish to pursue and a basis on your background?… from what you given us I can only hope you can get some company to sponsor your work visa, the only other thing I could think of is the tokutei katsudou visa (this is my understanding, please search more), but its a visa that tends to be more “generic” allowing you to work baitos while you search for a full time
