By running through the Dontaku line-up, the wholesome Stiff Bois are able to break down the key match ups on the Road To so far, including Hiromu v Uncle Nobu, Jetsetters v Catch 2/2, Aussie Open v TMDK and Shingo v Taichi, plus, go in-depth in previewing the BOSJ participants and block line ups, before exploring the stories headed into the main Dontaku Card; with a special focus on Bullet Club drama and how Finlay can help NJPW find their way out from under the Clubs unwieldy shadow. There’s a fair few predictions that could open the Bois up to some ridicule in this one, as the conspiracy booking makes way for some less solid predictions.
With Dontaku well and truly explored, the lads finish with a discussion of Stardom’s Grand Queendom event, discussing some key matches and players, as they go ‘gal’ searching, only to then contemplate the impact of Mercedes run with IWGP belt and what her presence on Strong, and the development of a Strong women’s division, signals for the future of all parties.
