[OC] This deer found a great spot to ask for treats (March 2023)

1. On the trail up to the Kasuga Shrine in Nara, we met this little guy camped out between a pair of stone lanterns, bowing and asking for treats. It worked out pretty well – better than the other deer we caught trying to sneak into a trail-side shop, anyhow! Taken with my Pixel 6 Pro.
