Hi,
FedEx sent me an invoice for import duties for a package they already delivered to me more than 2 months ago.
I was wondering what would happen if I totally ignored them. After all, I already received the package and it is not my problem they sent me the invoice so late, is it?
Any potential troubles if I don’t pay?

Import duties are government fees, you should pay the invoice.
Yeah like when the power company puts the bill in the top part of the mailbox and I dont notice it, they have to pay. It’s not my fault.
They will keep sending them for a few months, then they will forward your doxx to a collection agency which will send the bill again this time with their fee added. I’m not sure what happens after that maybe they send ウシジマくん your way.
you should definitely pay it before the last step.
What happens? They repeatedly send you bills, and if you still don’t pay, the bills go to a collections agency and FedEx refuses to deliver to you in the future. Don’t be a deadbeat.
Pay it now and consider it a nice interest-free 2 month loan from FedEx
