Resident card/work visa query

My husband and I are currently living in Tokyo. He has received a job offer in Singapore and is moving there by end of the month.
I am currently on a Japan work visa and have applied for an internal move which is taking time as we don’t have an entity in Singapore.
So, I wanted to get some advice about if it is possible to move to Singapore while still receiving my salary in Japan.
We have to vacate our apartment this month and I am in still two minds if I should stay back till my work move is sorted or I should move with my husband, and come back to Japan to do the exit paperwork later.

What happens to my visa/resident card if I don’t update my new address within 15 days? Would appreciate any feedback.

  1. You can do the moving abroad procedure at city hall and still keep your residence card with a reentry permit.
