I’m currently looking for a source/database of searchable japanese sentences from any media like movies, dramas, manga, etc. Is there such a site like those for jpop lyrics, but instead for scripts used on those media?
I can suggest this site [https://massif.la/ja](https://massif.la/ja). As they say “The current index contains ~30 million sentences extracted from the top 2000 series from the user-generated novel site 小説家になろう.”. Japanese only, without translations.
Thanks for all the suggestions! Here I am confident with my googlefu yet i was able to see this sites.
There’s a WaniKani user scripts called anime sentences, which has thumbnail, text, furigana, and translation… Maybe look up the script and see if it shows where they’re pulling from

[Jotobas](https://jotoba.com) sentence search?
It’s not searchable as far as I’m aware, but [SuperNative](https://supernative.tv) is an excellent study resource that utilizes clips from media.

To this day, I’m still uncertain about how this site works, but it works like 50% of the time when I’m looking for a song title from lyrics.

[https://www.immersionkit.com](https://www.immersionkit.com), but I don’t think it will be of any use if you’re not using Anki. If you are using Anki it’s great. Also [this](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ukDIWSkh_xvpppPbgs1nUR2kaEwFaWlsJgZUlb9LuTs/edit#gid=822742203).
