I’m American with a spouse visa and need remote work

Hello,

My wife is Japanese and I’m trying to figure out how to work remotely from the US. I’m not a tech guy, I can’t code, but I have previous sales and customer service skills as a travel agent.

I’m covered in tattoos from neck to toe lol finding work in Japan hasn’t been too hard, their pay is just ridiculously low! Even my Japanese friends and family don’t seem to have it much better…. I came here because I fell in love and moved in on a whim after being dragged here by a friend on vacation, knew nothing about this place (other than my wife), and now hoping there’s a way to make USD while living here

Any suggestions is appreciated

  1. If you do find something just be careful with taxes.

You have a spouse visa so can do anything. If you’re close to a touristy place maybe start finding all the tattoo friendly places and start a “tattoo friendly tour”

I’m also American and been here a while. Good luck! (Also the more Japanese you learn the easier everything gets here)

  2. After you get something come back to Reddit and share the secret with the rest of us.

  3. I earn USD through stock trading using fidelity in USA. Make money while in Japan and naked and have tattoos

  4. Honestly I was in the same boat as you.

Looked at the pay scale and was shocked as to what you earn for what you do, but everything is cheaper hear in Japan.

Don’t need a car or car insurance. Don’t have to worry about health care taking you for everything you have when you need to use it. Most jobs pay for your commute. Food is cheap, drinks are even cheaper.

    Just a thought
