Study buddy or someone to practice Japanese with

I am a beginner. I’ve heard that having someone to practice Japanese with can really help with learning.

Language exchange apps like HelloTalk or Tandem are one option, but I’ve heard that their free versions are quite limited in terms of features.

Are there other communities or groups, like in discord or the like, that I can join that are active and beginner friendly.
