Sorry if I’m in the wrong place… please point me to the right reddit if it exists… I’m wondering about issues related to a non-resident purchasing (and setting up) a home while not in Japan (in particular while in USA).
I do have relative with power of attorney for some leg work, but my questions center around how much you can do remotely and without a visa (from things like having internet connection setup in a home) etc. For example I looked at GTN application for home internet, but it seems to assume you have a Visa afaict.
Also, if there are any Karatsu specific groups, I’d be interested in knowing.

According to your post history, your wife is Japanese. Why not use her name for everything?
