I want to study abroad in japan, through gaijinpot, do I need to use Notarized translation to my documents like bank statement high school diploma etc? For example most of my docs are in hebrew. Would they accept it? Or it need to be notarized?
Have you tried calling your local embassy and asking?
Thanks I’ll try
Yeah probably… foreign scripts (as in two countries with different scripts… ((not ‘Hebrew is foreign’… omg you’re such a racist…)(sorry, just trying to pre-empt the trolls!) )usually need some form of verifiable translation. Your local Japanese embassy will be able to give you the information you need. I’d suggest making a list of questions and going to the embassy and then working through them one by one.
