I’d like to find more festivals/events/matsuri that are or aren’t super popular but worth joining!
Would be very grateful for any suggestions.
(P.S. recommendation from me: I’m planning to go to Tokyo’s Design Festa this month. Highly recommend it to anyone who’s interested either in art or spending money on cool and unique things)

Coming up, Kanda Matsuri and Sanja Matsuri are some of the oldest and most important in the history of the city. I haven’t been in past years so can’t give firsthand impressions, but planning to go this year. I expect huge crowds since a lot of these are being held fue the first time since COVID started.
