Been reading manga in English for the longest time, now I’m searching for manga in Japanese to practice my reading but I’m having trouble finding a site where I can read it for free. (I’m also willing to paid a subscription if necessary)
Out of these three I like bookwalker best. It’s the easiest to just start reading with even without an account.
The website https://web-ace.jp/youngaceup/ has some that you can read online. Unfortunately, you can’t read the full series for most of them, and the website is fully in Japanese, which can make it hard to navigate.
In addition to what others have mentioned: JP Kindle (paid), mangareader.to (free) and Itazuraneko manga library (free)
Have you checked out [Crystal Hunters](www.crystalhuntersmanga.com)?
I’ve heard that furigana being present or not largely depends on the target demographic of the manga you’re reading. For example, One Piece has furigana while Kaguya-sama does not.
Amazon.co.jp Just need to enter a seemingly valid JP address and use a VPN during the first purchase. It does have many free works and a discounted subscription service.

The only one I’ve ever found is the Japanese jump plus site. It’s official so you have to pay. https://shonenjumpplus.com
[Bookwalker](https://bookwalker.jp/free/), [Honto](https://honto.jp/cp/ebook/recent/free.html?cid=ip_hpp_keyword_03) and [Sokuyomi](https://sokuyomi.jp/free.html) all offer free manga for limited time.
