Quick question, based on these pics is this lady a tourist or a geiko/maiko. This was taken last 2019 if that helps.

1. I mentioned the year to let anyone know that this was shot before Kyoto banned photography in Gion. But these pics have stayed with me for a while and when I saw them again I can’t help but ask myself if she was just a tourist.

4. From the kimono, make up, and the way she walks. I’d say it’s a Maiko going to training. They are just going to work.
