What book or resource I can find to learn the phrases and write basic sentences in japanese?

Hello I’m planning to learn how to write japanese hiragana and katakana I’m starting by learning the alphabet. After the alphabet learn the phrases
Example: jitensha – bicycle

Then write basic sentences. Does anyone have an idea? I want to make plans in the future when I get good at the alphabet.

  2. i use the textbook Genki! I have the third edition, which i believe is the newest one. I definitely recommend it, it’s the one my university is using in their japanese classes
