Hello! Does anyone know if there is a “designer” community in Japan (Tokyo)? A website where we could search and contact them, or members of a list to receive job offers? My company is struggling to find a web designer, so I was wondering if you guys had some good ways to find them.
(They didn’t ask me to post something here, I’m actually curious to know.)
Right now it’s feels like searching for a rare pokemon in the high grass…
I’m not asking for those (sorry) crappy website where you ask a “designer” to do your logo for 30$. (I’m a programmer and worked with real web designer, and never found something nice coming out of those websites) I’m searching for something with legit people behind, living in Japan (or want to), that are searching for jobs.

Creative Tokyo is a good place to find candidates. They hold regular events on Meetup.
