Hi everyone, apologies if this has been asked before but I couldn’t find anything in the search.
I passed N2 by reviewing flash cards on the iKnow app while walking my dog or on the train to work. Yes, it’s overpriced, but my daily life is extremely busy so the convenience of having pre-made example sentences with audio was worth it to me. Anyway, the app runs out of cards at 6000 words and I’m on 5000, so I’m going to have to find a new way to learn vocabulary at some point.
My question is: are there any convenient flash card apps for learning N1 vocabulary? Preferably with SRS and decent audio recordings.
I also listen to podcasts, watch TV and read books/comics in Japanese, but I don’t feel like I pick up much vocabulary from them. Unless it’s some weird slang term (I’m looking at you, 水曜日のダウンタウン).
Thanks for any help and suggestions.
EDIT: Updating in case anyone has the same problem in the future. In the end I decided to bite the bullet and just start using Anki with the smartphone app, along with this deck since it had audio files: https://tatsumoto.neocities.org/blog/jlpt-tango-n1-anki-deck.html
I’ll be buying a copy of the book too, since otherwise I feel like it’s ripping off the publishing company.

Core 10k on anki or torii-srs. But maybe you will have to suspend the cards you already know since they contain words from N5 to N1
How about the Shin Kanzen Master N1 book?
I’d really recommend just reading books/articles as much as possible and making Anki flashcards when you come across words you don’t know. I don’t think it’s easy to just memorize a 10k word list and then go pass the N1.
Get some earphones and listen through this playlist for all the grammar points to, it’s excellent:
