Anki Sentence Mining + Vocab question

Hello!

I’ve been trying to maximize using Anki since I have struggled with it in the past and so far this time around I find myself back in the situation where Anki is starting to feel too tedious a task because of the burgeoning reviews.

My previous attempt at utilizing Anki was simply using it for Vocab, where the front was the vocab in Japanese and the back was the various translations and vocab reading.

Now, I use it for both sentence mining and vocab where the front of the card is the vocab and the sentence that the vocab was found in(both in Japanese) then the back is the translation of the vocab, translation of the sentence, and the reading.

My question is, should I split this into two decks with a sentence only and a vocab only deck? Can someone who’s done something similar before weigh in on the pros and cons?

EDIT: I forgot to add how I grade my reviews this way. I only press Good if I know all of the following: how to read the sentence, understand the sentence, and know at least one of the possible meanings of the word(though I usually know the one in context of the sentence)
