  1. When Japan is already quite low in human rights respects, and finds a way to dig.

  2. I wonder how many incompetent employees Japanese immigration has. I know many Filipinos who are in refugee visa. We have no war in the Philippines and these people are not politically oppressed yet they were given refugee visa. Refugee visa should be given to those who deserve it.

  3. >Japan currently cannot deport foreign nationals to their home countries
while their refugee status applications are pending and the government
suspects many have abused the system by applying multiple times on the
same grounds to remain in the country.

    and

    >The bill would allow the government to repatriate those who fail to show
why they should be granted refugee status when applying for the third
    time or later.

idk ya’ll, this doesn’t sound that unreasonable. This is deportion after failing to show why you need asylum after three attempts. Otherwise you could exploit it infinitely stay in the country no matter your background.

  4. No wonder.
In Japan, there is a problem that Kurds repeatedly apply for refugee status and never return home.
And in Saitama, a group of young Kurds are causing a big problem with noise, fighting, crime, and sexual harassment of women.
The number of them is as many as 2,000. Many of them have applied for refugee status.
Now that the bill has passed, these third world people will be deported.
