The article has one interesting point:
> Parents may also rightly worry about who will care for their **[adult]** child in their later years if they remain childless — the lack of a built-in support system that typically comes with marriage and having children. Their **[adult]** child may face increased challenges and loneliness as they age.
> in Japan every year thousands of people die alone “kodokushi,” completely ignored by all, even by their neighbors. And not all of them are men and elderly people.
This isn’t something that many people in society have prepared for, is it? There aren’t like communities or support groups for single/childless middle-aged people are there?
What a garbage, biased article.
This article is deeply sexist, which is no wonder considering it is Catholic propaganda.
If this was not a sexist article, they would be concerned about the “whole generation of desolate, lonely therefore vulnerable” men too. No one owes anyone a baby, for any reason. F off.
