Dumb question

Sorry for the possible dumb question, but I was reading a manga and a character says “おはよっ” instead of “おはよう.” Is this a typo?

  1. not likely a typo, just a difference in pronunciation. similar to saying ‘wassup’ instead of ‘what’s up’ same meaning but less formal

  2. a っ at the end of a word indicates a clipped pronounciation (or glottal stop). so this would be someone saying it quickly, cheerfully, and/or impatiently
