Am I the only one who feels the pressure of it? Sometimes think of this Gift Giving culture as like some kind harassment.
The best word to express what o feel when Im in a situation that I need to give someone a Gift is 強制

I’m assuming you’re talking about going on leave and coming back to work.
I normally don’t bring stuff. If I was I would need stuff for about 100 people. If I do get something it would be for the admin personnel due to that’s the only people I directly associate with on daily basis, shopping 10 is cheaper.
I don’t even tell anyone where I went 🤣
I call it Gift Wars. You cannot give anyone anything without it escalating. So much so that it is a burden on the recipient.
