How can there be no ePacket service from Japan to the USA when there is to many other countries? Yes, COVID. Yes Russia Ukraine war. There’s ePacket service to Poland ….
Unfortunately it’s been like that since covid. You have ground shipping which takes 2months but costs under 1000 yen
Or EMS which is just a few days but costs about 4500 yen (depending on weight)
Lastly there are documents which funny enough is via airmail and takes about 2 weeks for only 1500 yen
But ya no fast cheap parcel…
The US changed the rules of the Universal Postal Union to make sending mail to the US uniquely expensive among all countries. No cheap packages to the United States is likely a permanent situation.
That’s interesting. Why the heck would they do that? Weren’t making enough money from the cheapies?
