I have just completed my n5 study like a few days ago and I was just wondering while doing the listening practise that it still takes me like 3 tries to even like get a idea of whats happening from the minna no nihongo listening section, what are they saying and on top of that, I still can’t make like decent sentences on the fly, so is it like normal or I am lacking a lot of practise and I need to study more cause I have jlpet in like 2 weeks.

https://www.mykikitori.com/ is easier than the N5 listening section but I think it could be a good practice for you

Pull up some example n5 listening sections on youtube to get comfortable with format. There are a few different sections, they’ll often read you the question first, then a passage, then repeat the question. Sometimes there are photos to look at, etc. It will help you if you know what to expect on exam day.
I’d also recommend doing them w/o headphones, I had some trouble when I took the n5, I had done all my practice w/ headphones on, and then listening out of a tape deck in the room was hard! You’ve got 2 weeks, if your grammar/vocab fundamentals are there, you should be able to level up your listening with practice. Good luck!
