Going to Japan for the first time with the GF from sept 9-30. We just finished booking all our stays and filled in the gaps between but I’m not sure if it’s too much/too little and would like some advice!
I also write “Suggestions?” a lot since theres a lot of time where Im not sure where we should be eating/going to bars. I thought I overbooked initially but after writing this agenda i notice theres a lot of “dead” time. Would love to have your feedback/suggestions!
**Sept 9 – Tokyo**
– Land in Narita airport
– Buy our JR Pass/Pocket Wifi (3 weeks since were there 3 weeks)
– Train to Tokyo (first hotel is right under imperial palace)
– Walk around to find some dinner and then sleep
**Sept 10 – Tokyo**
– Morning > Imperial Palace
– Afternoon > Akihabara / Pokemon Centre/Cafe
– Evening > Dinner TBD
**Sept 11- Tokyo**
– Morning > Breakfast TBD( open to suggestions)
– Afternoon > Tsukijijogai / Team Labs Borderless
– Evening > Dinner around somewhere ( suggestions welcome!)
**Sept 12 – Tokyo**
– Afternoon > Kirby Cafe / Akihabara round 2
**Sept 13 – Tokyo/Kyoto**
– Morning > eat breakfast close > travel to Kyoto
– Afternoon > Check into Kyoto Hotel > eat somewhere around our place.
**Sept 14 – Kyoto**
– Morning > Inari shrine
– Suggestions for rest of day

– Morning/afternoon – Arashiyama (Bamboo + Monk + castle)
**Sept 16 – Kyoto**
– Morning > Botannical gardens
– Afternoon > Toei Kyoto studio park

– Morning > travel to Osaka!
– Afternoon > walk around and eat somewhere near where were staying (near dotombori)

– Morning/Afternoon – Izakaya Toyo / Osaka Castle
**Sept 19 – Osaka/Nara**
– Morning/afternoon – Nara / Tōdai-ji / Kasuga-Taisha / Koriyama Castle Ruins
– Dinner – Dotombori

– Dinner – somewhere nice! (suggestions? 🙂 )

– Dinner somewhere in Osaka

– Afternoon > relax and walk around and eat somewhere local
