That back body drop spot to the outside makes me cringe every time I see it. I love this match, one of the ones that got me into New Japan.

I don’t know if naito was legit terrified of taking the clash off the top or he was just selling his terror but It made for a great visual
Honestly I think AJ has been great in WWE but I always miss how protected Styles Clash was in New Japan. That was a one and done finisher.
Really underrated match and the one that actually sent Naito off on his way to become El Ingobernable.
A bit of a let-down as a match, to be honest (I much preferred their G1 bout from 2014). Spectacular spot though!
