Morning after pills

Well, kind of an emergency here!
I really need morning after pills. It is possible to find in a regular drug store or i need to pass in a gynecologist?

  1. They’re not in regular drug stores.
Search for a “women’s clinic” near you and call them before you go to see if they have them (some don’t and you really, really don’t want to find that out when you arrive).
Be prepared to pay around 1万円 for it, too.

  2. If you are in Tokyo, there’s a few recommendations here:

  3. Not sure where or how to do this in non-Japanese but you can get a quick telephone consult for a prescription then they’ll overnight you the pills and a couple of pregnancy tests to take in a few weeks. Hopefully someone can help you.

Unfortunately it’s a prescription drug you can’t buy it OTC.

  4. Thank you for the help! Me and my wife found a clinic nearby!

They also have translators, so really convenient.

  5. As others have said you’ll need to go to a ladies clinic.

If you live in Tokyo you can use Tokyo himawari if you need help finding a clinic in English. It’s a medical translation service that’s run by the Tokyo government.

    Here’s their phone number and [website](https://www.himawari.metro.tokyo.jp/qq13/qqport/tomintop/): 03-5285-8181
