Hello everyone!
So, I have ADHD and I use to take Vyvanse back home. Now I am in japan and my new doctor gave me Concerta, but I don’t like it very much.
The doctor told me that Vyvanse is just for kids here in Japan (???). Is it true? Any adults that were prescribed it here in Japan?

Also, I need a recommendation of good doctors that can prescribe stimulants here around Ibaraki or Tokyo, because my doctor doesn’t listen to me and don’t care about my mental health.

Thanks in advance <3

Vyvanse was only recently approved in Japan (2018-2019 iirc) and it was only approved for children.
I’ve heard that children who started Vyvanse as children can continue using it into adulthood but I haven’t heard any stories that confirm that.
If you took Vyvanse as a child in your home country and can prove it, you could talk to a doctor about it but it’s going to be an uphill battle.
