Any Handheld Self Car Washes in Tokyo?

I am thinking of getting a 50cc scooter to use \[mostly\] for camping. I live in an apartment and would have to park in the bicycle parking lot. I will not have a hose or an area to wash the bike after a camping trip, which can be muddy. So I have searched online for self car washes. I find lots of the ones you driver through in a car, but I’m thinking that won’t be too much fun on a Honda Benly. Does anyone know if there are car washes here where you put in some coins and then use a high-pressure hose to wash your bike/car/wife or whatever? Maybe there is a name or keyword that I should be using other than \[self spray hose car wash tokyo coin\] For the record, I am on the Western side of Tokyo, in the Tama New Town area, so anything out this way would be a help.

  1. There are a ton of that type of car wash around. You’ll just have to go out searching.

Think carefully before you buy a small scooter for camping. When you’re in Tokyo and you can’t take the expressway, it takes a very long time to get out of town, even if you go the closest direction. In your case, there’s little chance you’d want to go north or east, because the city is just too big in those directions, so please consider the restrictions that you’ll have if you make that purchase.
