I live down in Kyushu, the closest major city is Fukuoka.
I was wondering if anyone has had experience with doctors down here regarding endometriosis management?
I also need to get a doctor to prescribe oral contraceptive (I use Bayer brand – Valette).
I’m super nervous about seeing anyone here. I haven’t heard the best things about gynecologists here and I only speak a little Japanese so I would prefer someone that spoke English.

I don’t have first hand experience, but if you suffer from endometriosis, you can get birth control pills prescribed for that and have them covered by the health insurance. Contraceptive s used to only prevent pregnancy wouldn’t be covered.
The pill options here are a little limited so there’s a chance they will prescribe you a similar one too valette
My girlfriend buys her contraceptives via Mederi. No need to see a doc as far as I know. She’s native and has been getting hers via there for a while.
Edit: she’s just said she needed to do a phone consultation beforehand, RIP, but maybe its an option for you!
I’ve been taking Dienogest for years – prescribed here – for endometriosis/fibroids to keep the pain at bay and the swelling down. It seems like a normal thing they prescribe for that, and I’m not sure what Valette is, but it sounds like it contains some Dienogest. All it took was for my gyno to do a basic blood panel, pelvic exam and finally an ultrasound to diagnose it, and the medication was the prescribed, no problem at all.
