I actually did this when I was building a light box. Googled something like ガラス屋 and called a few places. I ended up getting a 90cmx50cm or so piece of custom-cut glass same day and picked it up in town. It was some local place running out of a garage/shed and we talked for a bit about what I was going to do with light box (sand art) and blah blah. I’m sure they’d sell you uncut stuff, or it might be cheaper to just get them to do it, and polish/score the ends too (like in case of a coffee table).
order – glass dot com is OK. I’ve ordered from their website before. Just specify the size you want and they’ll cut it for you. Saves a lot of time.
