I froze this for 3-4 weeks then unfroze it for 1-2 days in the fridge then froze it again then unfroze it for a day. Can I still eat it raw?

  1. Probably. At least if your fridge isn’t too warm. But quality has gone down already.

  2. I won’t once you refreeze a fish it’s going to taste like crap, the ice crystals will tear the microfibers of the muscle aka the fish fillet and it was be a very bad tasting experience especially raw.

  3. If it was completely thawed more than a whole 48 hrs I’d say no. I wouldn’t recommend but you could just make poke or spicy salmon with it to make up for the texture/flavor.

  4. if you let it stand at room temperature for longer than hour unfrozen the maybe not. Smell it and if you don’t want it to waste and you’re iffy about it brine it it
