Might be getting kicked out of sharehouse tomorrow, best option to save money hotels wise.

I live in a sharehouse. I’m scheduled to move out in 10 days or so. The sharehouse employee came by and had me talk to the guy in the office asking if I could come by tomorrow regarding my stay. I’m assuming this means I’m getting the boot. Not sure what for. The room is currently quite messy but I don’t really use the main room kitchen or anything. What’s my best option in regards to not flying through money in a hotel?

  1. Why would you assume they’d bother kicking you out just days before you’re already scheduled to leave? Have you not paid rent? Are you being a cunt to the other residents?

  2. I mean, they could want to talk about move out dates, final walk through, damages etc.

Why does your mind go to getting kicked out? Because hearing the stories about sharehouse antics someone has to be pretty bad before they’ll finally give them the boot.

  3. You’re scheduled to move out in 10 days, I doubt they’d kick you out now, not sure why you would jump to that conclusion. Even if they were, they’d give you a few days notice to leave, not overnight, which is why it doesn’t make any sense.

  4. Just refuse and leave in 10 days as planned. It will take much longer than 10 days for them to unilaterally break the lease and they cannot legally just kick you out.

  5. I would just assume it’s a move out meeting, like orientation for moving out procedures, room inspection etc.

Kicking you out 10 days before your scheduled leave if you haven’t done something horrible doesn’t make sense, so you are 100% overthinking.
