Chiba, 25-28 May

Hello, I’ll be going to Chiba from 25-28 May. So far this is what I’ve planned. Are the places worth going? If not, any other interesting places that I should be considering?

25 May noon –

Station: Sodegaura
• Mitsui Outlet Park Kisarazu
• Ushigome Beach Clam Digging Place

26 May –

Station: Choshi
• Inubosaki Lighthouse
• Choshi Fishing Port

Station: Sawara
• Sawara Sightseeing Boat (think it’s the only sightseeing boat in the Edo period setting)
• Katori Shrine

Station: Narita
• Eat Unagi at Kawatoyo Narita (think it’s been around since ~1910, more than 100 years of cooking)

27 May –

Station: Kimitsu
• Mother Farm (Flower viewing, Fruits picking, In-farm bus, Feed animal, Genghis Khan BBQ)

28 May – we’ll probably take it slow and head to Ikebukuro by midday.

  1. Chiba City near Tokyo? I definitely recommend Philo Coffee! We went last week and it was a great experience. They take their time but they appreciate the craft of coffee.

Also, the owner is an award winning brewer who’s method of brewing coffee is one my husband follows. Great place.

  2. Where are you going to stay?

It takes about one hour from Chiba station to Kisarazu by train.

Clam digging is very fun but you might get wet
    You should bring change clothes.

Fewer trains and buses in Chiba
    Take care

I wish have a nice trip
