Do you know any delivery services to deliver Costco items (mostly food) that you would recommend?
The closest Costco is a 3 hours drive.
i am heading to the Dragons baseball game this sunday, and I wanted to know some basic questions.

Returned a bike to Amazon, had defective parts (and broken ones)
The return center stated that they won’t be receiving this as a “return” as it has broken parts (which is why I sent it back, duh)
Contacted customer service, they said don’t worry, it was a mistake on their side, they didn’t understand the reason of return properly, you won’t be charged for the replacement. Also mentioned that they’ll be processing this manually.
It’s been almost a week since then but the status hasn’t been updated in the site yet. The return deadline in about a week and a half from now so, any suggestions? I hope it’ll get resolved on its own but just stressed 😬
UK people – if I visit England, am I still able to go to the GP I’m registered at? I guess they have me down as living at my parents house still. Is there any problem with that? Is it fraud? How would they know? Haha

What size of bed does everyone use? Semi-double? Double? Wide-double? Queen? 2 singles side by side? I’m using a semi-double and find myself on the edge of the bed more often than not in the morning… Wife is resisting the upgrade to a wide double because it’s expensive, but she’s the one hogging the bed after we both fall asleep.

Thinking of buying the new Toyota Noa. It is really the sweet spot for a hybrid+4wd (e-four). Even the used toyota’s with those features are going for 2.5-3 million, so might as well go new at 3.3. Anyone have experience with the hybrid noa/voxy? Can someone please talk me out of the insane idea to buy a new car over used? Car sensor prices are practically new prices at this point, and jmty, yahoo, are not cutting it for hybrids.
Are there any good OTC anti-diarrheal meds here? Sometimes I mess up my stomach with too much drank and I have to be on the toilet for next day or two without any meds. Currently using some strong OTC stuff from the US but my supply is wearing thin.

So Quizlet, which I had been using just about since its inception, just moved pretty much all its functions beyond basic flashcards to its paid tier. This does nothing for me, as I need to type in the answer to remember it, not just flip flashcards back and forth. Got me all the way to N1 (well １級 at the time). Anyone know of a similar, still free, flashcards but a bit more self-study type?
People without cars and travel via public transport, care to share any secrets to keep travel costs low? I’m planning a trip to the Tohoku region to see the various festivals there. Luckily I can keep my accommodation fees low but just getting there is expensive. Almost 3man for a roundtrip shinkansen (from Tokyo area) and I’ll have to pay extra for getting to Tokyo station from my area and to some of the more rural places when I’m there.
Looks like most hanabi taikai, awaodori,and natsu matsuri etc. remains cancelled this year. Wondering if there are any festivals/events worth going to that isn’t too far from Tokyo? Want to find an occasion to wear my yukata again.

Where can I get good quality photo prints? I’ve done the usual at Yodobashi or Shimauma but I’d like to get some nicer quality ones to frame, or maybe a photo book.
I spoke with an immigration lawyer (very briefly) regarding self sponsoring a visa. She said one could either start a business and apply for a business manager visa, or work for various companies (part time at each) and could apply on that situation but one company still had to be the “main company” and provide documentation for the visa application.
From reading stuff online I thought that it was possible to have private clients and if you could provide proof of your income and etc you could apply for yourself? Or is all that info inaccurate?
I ran out of time before I could discuss that in detail with the lawyer.
It looks like I might be moving to Okinawa next month for a new job (if everything works out). I’m currently living in Tokyo, and I know a lot of things will probably be different but also the same.
But based on what I’ve read online it sounds like I’ll definitely need a car? Maybe? Other than a car probably being a necessity, and the heat/humidity, is there anything I should really look out for? Or anything I should definitely know before I move?
