order of exercises for most efficient learning

I’m using genki to study grammar ( the workbook and some online exercises that match the book)

Is it better to do the online exercises first, which are simpler and multiple choice or do the workbook questions first which are longer & more complex. I was doing workbook questions first, then using the online ex to review the day after but would it be more wise to do the easier first?

Would really appreciate your opinion on this!

ALSO IF ANYONE HAS ANY OTHER GOOD RESOURCES TO REVIEW GENKI PLS LET ME KNOW

  1. I do the practice sections (the online ones) on the same day as the grammar section. I wait a couple days to do the workbook for the lesson. Waiting makes it easy to pick out what is sticking from the lesson and what needs more review

  2. You can change the exercise type if you’re using the Seth Clydesdale site. I usually go through the main book questions once in multiple choice as “easy mode” then repeat those questions and the workbook in the written mode where you write in the answers.
