I created this sheet for my own study but I thought someone may it find useful. I tried to split the parts of each conjugation by color so it’s easy to understand how they are formed.

I used Akebi for references and also thanks to my friend Mariko who helped me verify it.

Suggestions or corrections are welcome.

UPDATES

* As u/PeacefuIChaos mentions, this sheet is only for る verbs. I may do other in the future about other verb types and irregular verbs.
* Please, take with a grain of salt. I’m not fluent nor a linguist.

  1. You might also wanna add たべてしまう/たべてしまいました。there are many other nuanced ones like たべきります。。」but I think you captured 99.99% of the conjugations

  2. I love this! Having a summary of the conjugations helps me wrap my head around them, I sometimes struggle to remember which conjugation is needed for certain grammar points, so this is awesome!

  3. As a japanese learner, I always have to go back to the previous chapters to find certain conjugations, thanks a lot

  4. This is only for 食べるwhich is a える verb. Maybe regular/irregular verbs should be included too

  5. Thanks! I find it very useful. I have a verb cheat sheet, but it doesn’t cover this nearly as well.

  6. This is amazing! Love the color coordination (as someone with synesthesia, this type of association really helps).
I look forward to an “U” verbs chart if you ever decide to make one.
