I signed up to OCN NTT for my internet in my apartment. They sent me this and they told me that they’ll be coming here to install today but no one came so I thought about installing it myself maybe?
It had it’s own instruction leaflet so I thought I had to install it myself but I still have no LAN connection. Should I need my own router for this modem to have internet and wifi?

That’s a VDSL modem. You’ll need a router to actually make use of the connection.

You *can* use it with a PC by directly connecting LAN and making a PPPoE session but that doesn’t give internet to the rest of your devices. So you should pickup a router/wifi router.
If they’re sending a guy, maybe they haven’t pulled the fiber up from the street. So it won’t matter what you do there right now.
