As always, watch what they do, not what they say.
These people would try to outlaw a hammer if it was invented this year.

These ai programs are tools, which can be used equally as mindlessly as calculators, hammers, or pencils to not develop skills. Or, as a tool, can be used to aid and improve learning, so long as the educators take the time to learn what they have to teach.
