Hey everyone! I’ve been studying for a few years and am planning on taking the N2 in December. Just curious what this community thinks of the 朝日新聞 news app for preparing for the non-listening sections (alongside the N2 reading textbook, grammar textbook, some novels and a lot of manga). I feel like it helps a lot for academic-type reading, like the JLPT.

Take it with a grain of salt, because I irregularly subscribe to the newspaper, not to the app, but: I love the 朝日新聞, can’t recommend it highly enough. Might be because my political alignment seems somewhat matched there, might be because I enjoy their articles, might be both.
Anyway, that said: the newspaper itself will likely move you beyond N2, with a lot of additionally vocab. I can’t say how good / bad the app is, because I read the newspaper to get material for teaching, not for learning myself, and an app .. is not really suited that well to get material to work with.
