I’d say for now there’s a lot of room to learn in learning the frequently used kanji. Much easier time reading with full kanji rather than partial (混ぜ書き).
Small tip, because Japan is still living under the values of feudal society or something, it is extremely rare to list your mother before your father, if you’re going to mention both in a single sentence. I’m not kidding.
Learn more grammar points so you can express more complex thoughts without having to rely on simple “I eat cake” style sentences. In particular sentence conjunctions like ですが, そして, なので/に, ために, 例えば, けど, etc. are easy to learn and use (and you already are using some) and can make your writing flow better very quickly.

Expose yourself to lots of native speech and writing and just keep practicing! You’ll gradually pick up on how to make your sentences more natural.
私は5人家族で、母、父、姉、弟と妹がいます。妹は一番背が低いです。父はスポーツをするよりも、観る方が好きです。父よりも、母の方が厳しいです。
一番複雑だと思う科目は日本語ですが、一番面白いと思います。また、化学は数学と同じぐらい難しいと思います。
私も弟も、いつか日本に行ってみたいです。
