Kitano clinic (北野歯科医院) in Sannomiya is pretty good. Not sure about the type of fillings you’re talking about, but the sensei speaks English and is very friendly, so is the staff. You can also make reservation online which is super convenient.
[Dental Office Otani](http://www.doo.or.jp/en/) in the Umeda area, just across the street from Umeda Links. The head dentist (Dr. Otani) studied in (and is _also_ licensed in) the US and is at a damn near native-speaker level of English. Great staff (most have at least some degree of English ability), great experience, very high-tech approach rather the ancient methods common here, and all at quite reasonable prices.
Not sure what “UK style fillings” are, but I have some old silver fillings from the US in the 90’s, and they didn’t make any comment on them whatsoever.
Ive heard good things about Eddie, who runs Casanova Dental Clinic near Ojikoen, about 10 mins from Sannomiya.
