I have been following methods to set up mpv with mpvacious so that when the subtitles i have on the video are shown they get copied onto my clipboard and then onto an empty page so they are selectable. I have an add on for the clipboard and the subs are working, the add on will paste anything copied into it onto the page just fine but the subs won’t go onto the clipboard in the first place.

All I need is for the subs to be selectable by any way necessary but because my mpv folder has no conf files or scripts folder I can’t seem to find a way for mpv to register a command to copy all subs onto the clipboard. Does anyone have any ideas to make these subs selectable because I have spent hours today with the subs right in front of me but I cannot click on them and even going into the sub file I dragged into the player the text only reads the first and last line of every minute or so but the player shows every line.

I followed the instructions on animecards and managed to do it. Is that where you got your script from?
try asking for help either on the refold jp or moe way discord servers. I use jp-mining-note instead of animecards but it shouldn’t be much different, I came across a good amount of roadblocking issues while setting up mpvacious and all so I asked for help in the refold server and the jp-mining-note dev himself helped me. BTW I did use moe way for another issue I while setting up something similiar so it also gets the thumbs up from me, specially since I’m pretty sure the majority of people helping in one server are also in the other
