Noted:
After I asked the mods to let me post my videos a few times here, a mod gave me permission to post the videos even once a week without messaging them because my videos focus on explaining the Japanese language.
My channel is not monetized and I am not doing any other business by gathering people here.
I could just post text-only Japanese tips here, but to explain things from multiple angles by combining audio and text, I’m just using the YouTube platform.
So, I hope you all feel free to enjoy watching my videos.
My channel is really far from monetized, but in the unlikely event that it is, I will refrain from posting here.
Hi, everyone! How’s it going?
In Japan, there is a series of national holidays called ゴールデンウィーク/Golden Week from the end of April to the beginning of May, and if you take paid leaves on the weekdays in between, you could have had up to 9 consecutive holidays this year.
Unfortunately, I sprained my leg badly on the first day when I went out to my in-laws’ event for an errand so I couldn’t go out anywhere.
Also, my husband was home the whole time, so I couldn’t record my voice for the video, and I couldn’t make the video.
Even after the GW holiday, my husband somehow had a slight fever and worked from home most days, so I was still unable to produce videos.
But finally, I was able to post one video just now!
I received a comment when I posted “How to Say Thank You in Japanese” here, asking me to make a video on “How to Reply to Thank You”, so I did it.
I hope you enjoy it.

Maico sensei! Looking forward to watching it tongiht 🙂
And they only removed the testing requirements for re-entry the day before Golden Week, which meant Golden Week this year was more like Aluminum Foil Week for international tourism destinations.
