Kitakata ramen chain if you have one near you. Green chili shio ramen.
I worked at the NYC one for a bit before I quit due to poor management (then it closed) and fell in love with it.
When i am hungry and exhausted. Jiro kei or ie kei ramen.

Ichiran is always a great go to.
My go to ramen usually kagetsu arashi, plus the butameshi.
I’d go for some light, yuzu-flavored shio ramen. Any Afuri shops around you?
Ramen Jairo is great for reflecting on the simple pleasures of life
My go-to comfort Ramen is butter corn chasu ramen. It’s comforting as heck. Kind of like western confront food if it were Japanese ramen. Dense, but not overly salty. Rich but not overbearing. YMMV but I have a local shop I go to in Inaka and it fixes everything on a rainy day.
Ramens are great but tsukemen from Tetsu, now that’s nice, only downside being they recently changed their charsiu from the marinated melt in your mouth ones to like pale thin boiled shit they’re serving now.
