  1. One of the best things about the dessert in Japan is none of it was ever too sweet. Felt like the focus was always on the ingredients (matcha, kinnako, strawberry) and not on being super sweet

  2. You made it sound as delicious as it looks. If only everywhere they understood this principle, tone down the sugar so you can actually taste the ingredients.
