You can get Japanese Audible by subscribing with iTunes in the app (no fake address or VPN needed)

Edit: it is a way to subscribe but it doesn’t actually get any books that aren’t in your region so is likely only useful if you want a different storefront and don’t care about English audiobooks. Most books I click on are at least available in my region anyway ig

If you try to get a subscription any other way you need a Japanese credit card and address, but if you sign up using iTunes it doesn’t require one

It does cost more money that way and I don’t think you can get the free trial (or at least it didn’t show up for me), but it does work
