Just found that PBS has both seasons of this late 90s educational show that teaches Japanese! Each episode is around 25 minutes. You can find it via the PBS app on Roku and iOS, as well as in a browser. May be limited to US only. If you watch in a browser you are able to change the playback speed, which is extra handy.

Good luck to everyone learning Japanese!
I forgot how painfully cheesy it is.
I love it.
I feel like if I watch enough of these George from JFZ will make a guest appearance
I had no idea this existed! The series summary mentions that Tim visits Appalachia in an episode. Does anyone know which one?
It is not region-locked, you can watch it anywhere.
I’ve finished the whole thing a year ago. It was an enjoyable journey, even if it was a bit… Well, different let’s put it this way. I think the whole 90’s atmosphere of the show adds a real charm to it. Tim had also a personal show many years later, I don’t remember the name but it was somewhere on Vimeo I think.

Is it down right now?
Hell yeah. Tim Cook is one of the most charming people I’ve ever seen, period
