Update: I refused receiving the package. Better safe than sorry. It was nearly 15k after all.

Received undeliverable item slip from JP Post today which seems to be an item that I ordered last week in Amazon, but it got cancelled automatically in the same day and the seller was probably banned or something.
My card wasn’t charged, and the order history in Amazon says “Cancelled”. The price written on the CoD field is the same as the price I ordered it on, before it got cancelled.
I’m not sure if I should receive it as it seems really suspicious. Anyone else had any similar experience?

If you’re not expecting a cash on delivery item, just refuse it. It seems especially suspicious because from what you said, you chose to pay by credit card not COD.
The seller probably cancelled it himself and shipped it directly to you once he had your details to circumvent amazon fees, still sounds sketchy
no. But obviously if its not yours you just ignore it. If it bothers you, you can ask amazon for a help
I had this happen once it was a pair of 100 yen sun glasses when I had ordered shoes. That’s why I only pay with a credit card or Amazon points on Amazon now. No COD and never accept cancelled packages. Always refuse and let amazon handle it.
Just refuse the package. You don’t have to accept it or pay. They’re not going to hold you down and force you to pay.
It’s a scam that’s been going around. People send items to random addresses hoping you accept it so they’ll receive money
Report this to Amazon too. There’s support chat during business hours.
If you have enough spare time, report it to police too, because they can’t or won’t investigate without a report the potentially aggrieved party and the scammer gets off.
