Hey! I am moving to Yokohama during Golden Week. I am trying to get all my paperwork lined up for my Yakkan Shomei.
I have contacted my consulate and was told to contact Japan. They cant answer any questions.
I need it for
Eye contacts- bringing in a year Do I need a Yakkan Shomei? From what I can read it is a yes.
Bupropion- how much can I bring in?
I have done research and still can’t get an answer.
Do I need a special letter with my prescription from my dr. to apply? I mean is there a form or can they just write a letter?
Also, how much can I bring in? We have will have a Resident Visa staying for 2 years. I was hoping to bring in a full 90 day supply plus where I am at in the current month of my prescription.
One more I will be having the rest of my prescription from the US. Any tips or tricks? What makes it easiest?

Contacts you can get here. You can bring a month-long supply with no issues. There’s no need to bring a year’s worth of contacts.
Bruproprion needs a yakkan shoumei for anything above a 30-day supply. The information in the following link is very easy to understand:
